About 90% of surveys are complete. We truly appreciate all of you who have taken the time to get yours filled out!

Next Steps

I just initiated the locking process on Backerkit. This gives everyone 48 hours to make any updates to their order before we charge your credit cards. You should receive an email from them explaining this.

Once the credit cards charge on Wednesday, I will pull orders and send them to our warehouse for fulfillment. Depending on how busy they are, the first orders will start going out by Friday of this week. The shipments will continue into next week as each order is boxed up by our small staff. We plan to have all orders shipped by the end of next week.

Canadian Shipments

Recently, we have been having problems with our international shipping. Everything is taking an excessive amount of time to arrive. Therefore, we are working with a distributor in Toronto to ship all Canadian shipments by truck to them and they will ship the individual orders out to backers. Packages within Canada travel fine, but crossing the border has been problematic. I'll let you know when these shipments leave our warehouse, but rest assured that no matter what, it will be by the end of next week.

Other International

All other international orders will ship out with the rest of the orders to the US.

Things are moving well with more than half of you already completing your surveys.

This update is mainly for those who have ordered a play mat. I was incorrect in the description of the mat. Only one mat is needed per game. It is not one mat per player. If you have ordered extras for that purpose, please go back into your order and make the change to reduce the number you have purchased.

I apologize for providing incorrect information.

We will start shipping completed orders around the 8th of June.

BackerKit Surveys Are Coming!

Within the next week, you will receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://poetry-slam.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://poetry-slam.backerkit.com/faq.

We did it! Next Steps!

Thanks to nearly 500 of you for backing this project, we are so happy it was successful and appreciate your support! We are now in the waiting game, we need to wait about 14 days from the ending of the project for Kickstarter to process payments and get us the final backer list, once that is done we will be sending out surveys so all of you can fill in your addresses and phone numbers and pay the shipping.

We are closing in on the end of the campaign and are in the final 16 hours!  Please if you think anyone you know might be interested in the game consider upgrading to a 2X pledge.  As Dave mentioned in the comments we will likely be adding a 3X upgrade in the post campaign survey too, details to come after we finish up!
